It also offers a digital AM/FM radio tuner features a total of 20 station presets, auto tuning, and auto store functionality. The Philips HTS5500C Home Theater System with DVD Changer provides 900 total watts of power (6 x 150 watts per channel), and includes a passive subwoofer, center channel speaker, and four satellite speakers.
The built-in DTS and Dolby Digital decoders eliminate the need for an external decoder by processing all six channels of audio information to provide a surround sound experience and an astoundingly natural sense of ambience and dynamic realism. Dolby Pro Logic II provides five channels of surround processing from any stereo source.
Its 192 KHz sampling enables you to have an accurate representation of the original sound curves.
